Bio

As a PhD student in the Religious Studies program, I am interested in questions of heresy and orthodoxy, specifically in early Christianity and Daoism. My area of research will focus on the early centuries of the common era to investigate and compare a similar process of self-definition and identity-formation ongoing in both traditions. I am also interested in the history and concept of sacred texts and textuality, as well as the role they play in rituals.
