The Museum of International Folk Art (MOIFA) is thrilled to share exciting news about a new initiative, the MOIFA Summer Research Fellowship Program. This two-year pilot program, beginning in summer 2025, will offer a unique opportunity for scholars, researchers, public folklorists, community arts administrators and practitioners to spend 4-6 weeks in Santa Fe, New Mexico working on a research project related to MOIFA’s renowned folk art collection of over 163,000 objects and MOIFA’s Bartlett Library and Archives collections. Research fellows will also have opportunities to engage with MOIFA team members and the local community.
