Joyan Tan awarded Graduate Summer Support Award from the L&S Dean's Office

Joyan Tan has received a Graduate Summer Support Award from the L&S Dean's Office. This award supports Joyan's participation in the Panlongcheng Archaeology Summer School held in Wuhan, China from June 23-July 28, 2024. Through her participation in this program, Joyan will acquire important skills in the analysis and study of archaeological sources, which will be key to preparing her for her dissertation project that compares descriptions and accounts of ritual practices in Taoist texts and in the Hebrew Bible.
